Prayer Friends

We invite you to develop a personal bond with a member of the Amistad community. The Amistad Prayer Friends program joins U.S. friends in spiritual partnership with Amistad children or staff in Bolivia through sending and receiving cards, letters, and pictures. The children keep and cherish every piece of correspondence. In turn, correspondence from the children and staff is sent back to the U.S., so that you, too, may feel connected to your prayer friend’s life. Individually or with family, we welcome your participation in this spiritually nourishing ministry.

A prayer friendship is a purely spiritual commitment, but the responsibility to pray for and correspond with your Amistad friend should be made thoughtfully.
