Gonzalo

Gonzalo has improved his reading and writing skills but needs to practice math a bit more. Over the past year, he made some progress and passed Third Grade and, in 2004, he will continue in the Ciudad del Niño School. He took swimming classes during his vacation and found that he loves the water.  Swimming has helped him to relax and has had a positive influence on his behavior. He also went to soccer classes during his vacation.  At the end of year, Gonzalo and his brother, David, went to visit their biological mother for a day. Both brothers were very happy to see their mom, even if only for a short time.  Unfortunately, she is unable to provide the physical, moral, and emotional security that would permit the boys to be with her.  Over the past few months, Gonzalo has become more receptive to Christian teaching, and we look forward to further improvements in this area.
